class="mol-para-with-font">Ambitious developers are lodging applications for innovative designs to follow the completion of the Shard, the Cheesegrater and other unique buildings in the capital in recent years.<p class="mol-para-with-font">It comes after the surprise rejection of The Tulip last year, a ‘phallic-shaped’ observation tower that would have soared over the City of London.<p class="mol-para-with-font">But other applications have had greater success, including the 260-metre Diamond building at 100 Leadenhall Street which is set to help form a ‘mountain peak’ formation of skyscrapers in the central cluster.<p class="mol-para-with-font">The 36-storey 50 Fenchurch Street will also add another dynamic to the central London skyline, including another public viewing
